Join the Cyber Scheme Accredited Company Programme
Be recognised as a company invested in driving advancement in our industry.
Our accreditation programme is built on the principle that trustworthy services come from proven professional competence. This programme assures a company’s services by confirming that its workforce capability aligns with the UK Cyber Security Council’s Chartered Cyber Security Professional standards.
We will promote quality, professionalism, and the registration of a verified workforce connected to the companies employing them.
The scheme is open to organisations which employ individuals who have obtained Professional Titles in any of the existing specialisms. Accredited companies will be recognised for investing in verified skills, continuous professional development, and delivering high standards of service. Crucially, they will gain access to procurement frameworks that mandate a Professionalised Cyber Workforce.
Why accreditation matters
We are creating a clear and visible distinction between those who meet recognised standards and those who do not.
In mature professions, regulation exists to separate competent, accountable professionals from poor practice and false assurance. Law, medicine and engineering all use defined frameworks to make capability explicit rather than implied.
By introducing professional standards, aligned with the Government Security Profession Career Framework we are drawing a deliberate line between regulated professionals who can evidence competence and accountability, and unregulated operators who cannot.
"The programme fills a critical gap by linking professional competence with organisational credibility, giving UK businesses confidence that the advice and services they receive come from trusted, independently verified professionals operating within their recognised specialisms".
Paul Toye, Managing Director, Cyber Guarded
