Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please note your booking may be cancelled if these conditions are not met.

Terms and Conditions of the website and The Cyber Scheme Ltd

We are The Cyber Scheme Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 0868698. We operate the website www.cyberscheme.org. The term “The Cyber Scheme Ltd”, “Cyber Scheme”, “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Eagle Tower, Montpellier Drive, Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL50 1TA. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website. Your access to and use of www.cyberscheme.org is subject to these terms and conditions. By using the website you are accepting these terms and conditions. If you refuse to accept these terms and conditions you will not be able to order any services from our site.

By placing an order via this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements, 18 years of age or older and are accessing the website from your own account. By booking an exam you are entering into a contract with The Cyber Scheme. Exams can be purchased online via credit or debit card or an invoice can be generated upon completion of the order. Exams will not be confirmed until payment has been processed. Please ensure the invoice is paid at least 10 days prior to the exam date.

Soon after placing an order on our website you will receive a receipt email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Your order will only be activated once we have received payment, verified, accepted your order and subsequently sent you the acceptance confirmation via email. Cancellation / Booking Change and Postponement Terms and Conditions

Should you wish to cancel or postpone an exam, you can do so at any time up until 24 hours prior to the exam taking place. To cancel or postpone please email admin@thecyberscheme.org with your booking reference, date of exam and type of exam. We will cancel your place and notify you. Please see our cancellation policy below – we incur assessment, administration and location costs therefore we cannot offer a full refund. Refunds for online payments are processed via our payment gateway Stripe and may take several days to be credited back to your card. Refunds for invoice payments will be credited to the account the payment has been taken from.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 7 days before the exam date: 50% refund
5-7 days before the exam date: 25% refund
Less than 5 days before the exam date: no refund.

Our booking change and postponement policy is as follows:

More than 28 days before the exam date a full refund
15 – 28 days before the exam date 75% refund
7-14 days before the exam date: 50% refund
5-7 days before the exam date: 25% refund
Less than 5 days before the exam date: no refund.

Please note if a date change is requested it will be subject to the Postponement policy / terms and conditions above and charges will apply.

Exams purchased are liable for VAT at 20%.

Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the exam, and are valid for three years. Digital and PDF forms will be issued, and a premium paper print version will be available upon request. Certificates will not be issued if there is any outstanding payment.

The Cyber Scheme Ltd will not be liable to you for any lack of performance, or the unavailability or failure, of this website or our services, or for any failure by us to comply with these Terms and Conditions, where such lack, unavailability or failure arises from any cause reasonably beyond our control. This includes cancellation of exams due to personnel issues, failure of the online booking system or exam rig, and any events beyond our control causing our building to close, including forced quarantine or lockdown measures.

The Cyber Scheme warrant to you that any service purchased from us through our website will, on delivery, conform with its description, be of satisfactory standard, and meet the expectations set out regarding the quality, accreditation and certification required.

You agree not to impersonate any other person while using this website, conduct yourself in an offensive manner while using our website, or use the website for any illegal, immoral or harmful purpose.

The Cyber Scheme website may occasionally be off line to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will restore the service as soon as we reasonably can. In the event that our website is unavailable, our usual order and cancellation deadlines apply; please notify us via email to admin@thecyberscheme.org with any issues.
The Cyber Scheme makes no promise that our website service will be fault free. If you notice a fault in the service, please report it to us by emailing admin@thecyberscheme.org and we will correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these conditions at any time without notice and you confirm that The Cyber Scheme shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal. Your continued use of the website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

You agree to indemnify and hold The Cyber Scheme and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against our name arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website.

This website and its contents are provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis and we make no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to it. We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the website, any failures, delays, or interruptions in the delivery or downloading of any content contained on the website, any costs, losses, expenses or damages arising from the use of the content provided on the website or any conduct by users of the website. We reserve the right to deliver exams at our sole discretion. We disclaim all representations and warranties, including, for example, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In addition, we do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via our site is accurate, complete or current.
In no event shall we, our shareholders, directors, officers, or employees be liable (jointly or severally), to you or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not advised of the possibility of damage, and on any theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of this information. If any applicable authority holds any portion of this section to be unenforceable, then liability will be limited to the fullest possible extent permitted by applicable law. We reserve the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time and without notification, to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order any of our services from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority.

In accessing the Website you agree that you will access the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the Content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. (This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the website provided for specified use.)

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your exam order and to provide the services you have requested from us.
Our payment gateways, email newsletter provider and web host are fully GDPR compliant. Please be assured we will never pass your details on to any third party without your specific consent and will always ensure data we hold is secure.
