The CSVA training course is a one-day programme that develops the skills required to conduct safe, effective and technically competent vulnerability assessments. Designed for practitioners working across a variety of network environments, the course combines practical techniques with the underlying principles that drive successful vulnerability assessment.
Candidates will learn how to configure, execute and interpret vulnerability scans, while also exploring alternative discovery techniques for secure or restricted environments where traditional agent-based approaches may not be viable. The course goes beyond tool operation, examining why particular methodologies are used, the limitations of different approaches, and the opportunities available to assessors working within modern network architectures.
Advanced troubleshooting is integrated throughout the course, equipping candidates with the knowledge to diagnose and overcome the complex technical issues that often arise during vulnerability assessment activities.
