Strategic insight
Generalised cyber consultancy/Strategic Insight services
Staff at The Cyber Scheme have many years’ combined experience working with and for Government bodies including GCHQ. Take advantage of our knowledge and insight when needing to progress a project or application for your organisation.
An example of the Strategic insight we can offer to existing Security Testing consultancies relates to the CHECK submissions process, for organisations that have previously applied, or intend to apply, for Green light status; i.e they want to become a CHECK certified organisation so they can tender for Government work.
There are various requirements to this process (at least one qualified CTL on the staff, over 12 months testing, a testing methodology that can be reviewed, and redacted reports that can be submitted, etc) with our experience, we can review and provide a GAP analysis ahead of the submission, to maximise likelihood of acceptance and avoid your time, effort and expense going to waste and resulting in the 12 month lockout from re-applying.
If you are looking from support outside the CHECK environment, talk to us about the following:
- Reduce your audit costs with Cyber Advisor
Do you have an established IT department already looking after your Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation but struggle to find the resources to implement the changes stipulated?
An NCSC-accredited Cyber Advisor within your organisation can reduce the in-year costs for maintaining compliance to CE+ by providing services that you may traditionally have needed to outsource, allowing you to enter your assessment with confidence that you are fully prepared.
Accredited in-house Cyber Advisors can help maintain protection, report on issues and solve ongoing weaknesses within your environment, ensuring your CE+ accreditation is easily renewed and providing extra internal protection against threat.
- Ensure your supply chain is protected
Empower your third party risk management department to take proactive steps in securing your supply chain. A Cyber Advisor within your team can partner with suppliers to ensure standards are maintained down the supply chain, closing accessible avenues to potential attack.
As part of your third party supplier assurance programme, we advise that you ensure your suppliers maintain CE+ as a minimum standard to ensure that their infrastructure does not leave you at risk.
