The Cyber Scheme are committed to supporting those who are looking to start or further their career in security testing, including self-employed consultants and career transitioners. We have developed this deferred/split payment scheme in collaboration with Klarna to support those funding their own assessments and/or training with us.
The booking process:
Candidates booking an exam using our online booking system are sent an email as soon as their booking is confirmed, giving them the option of paying instantly by Apple Pay, credit card or Klarna via a link in the email.
Candidates booking directly with The Cyber Scheme will be sent the payment link as soon as their details and date are confirmed with us.
Customers are redirected to the relevant third party payment portal where they provide their details; after payment acceptance, the payment provider collects the purchase amount from the customer, including any future instalment payments, if applicable.
When paying by Klarna, Klarna guarantees that the funds are available to the customer; the customer repays Klarna according to their selected payment option.
Payment Options:
- Pay now (ApplePay or debit/credit card): Customers pay for the purchase immediately using a linked card, bank debit, or bank transfer.
- Pay in 3 (Klarna only): Customers pay for the purchase in three interest-free payments.
- Monthly instalments (Klarna only): Customers pay for the purchase over a longer term of up to 36 months, which might include interest.
- Pay later (Klarna only): Customers pay for the purchase in a single payment in 30 days.

Please note this option is only available to individuals making personal bookings. Companies will receive an invoice and can then pay by BACS or by debit/credit card. If you need to get in touch about your booking payment please contact us here.
