New to Cyber?
The Cyber Scheme is committed to supporting anyone who is considering a career in cyber security – there is a huge demand for talented and qualified practitioners from all walks of life. You don’t have to have a degree in computer studies to be a success in this exciting industry.
We will be adding more resources as we work with our member partners, including free training modules and entry level exams.
Attracting new talent and providing a career pathway through education, mentoring, training and qualification is one of our core objectives.
We will be working with The Cyber Security Challenge which seeks to find, educate and prepare talented individuals who want to become part of our industry, and The Cyber Trust whose aim is to provide cyber security support and education to communities.
We believe a career in cyber security should be accessible to people from all backgrounds working across many different sectors.
Whether you are transitioning from a similar career, wanting to change direction completely or are starting to look at your options as a school leaver or recent graduate, we aim to help you gain the training and access to employment that you need.
We are working with the cyber security industry to build the resources you need.
Through our innovative membership packages we will be able to share the expertise and networking capabilities you require to access a job in cyber.
Our aim is to increase the number of suitably qualified staff nationwide, working with UK businesses, the academic community and the public sector.
